Delete your account

You can delete your Spilla account and the data that belongs to it at any time — in the app in a few taps, or by asking us if you no longer have the app.

In the app

1. Open Spilla and go to My Spilla.
2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm it is you once more.

The account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

Without the app

Email hello@getspilla.com from the address on your account, with DELETE ACCOUNT in the subject line. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us your handle instead. We delete the account within 30 days and write back to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your account: email address, password and sign-in connections
• Your profile: handle, display name, bio, favourite shows and profile picture
• Your comments on episodes and posts, and your messages in groups
• Your group memberships and your block list
• Your game progress and your subscription status on our side

What is kept, and for how long

• Votes in polls and battles remain only as anonymous totals that cannot be traced back to you.
• Reports you filed about other people's content stay with the moderation team without your name, for up to 12 months after the matter is closed.
• Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis and expire within 30 days.
